Who do you want to BE before you die?

I was listening to a podcast about Oprah the other day, and she was talking about how blessed she feels about her life. What struck me was what she said she's most proud of. Not what she built. What she had BEcome.

It moved me when I heard it BEcause I have recently talked about

"BEcoming the person to hold the desires you are trying to manifest." So the last couple days I've been journaling: Who have I BEcome in the last year? Who do I want to BEcome next? Before I die?

Here's what I keep noticing. People ask each other what they want to do before they die. What they want to see, where they want to go, what they want to accomplish. This is a masculine type of energy we have in our society, all the things we must DO before we go.

Don't get me wrong...I'm a do-er. My masculine side is strong and as a business owner...I live in my masculine a LOT during the day.

But nobody asks the other questions. Who do I want to BE before I die? What do I want to BEcome?

That's the feminine, and it doesn't matter if you're male or female, we all have both inside us. One is about what we do in this life, the other is about who we want to BEcome in this life.

So I've sat with these questions instead.

Where do I most want to expand? How big do I want the vessel inside me to BE? Who is a person I will be proud to BE? Where do I want to feel at peace? What parts of myself do I want to intimately know? What truths do I want to have as my compass? How do I want to love myself, and other people?

Do I want to BE someone who's no longer scared?

What most wildest, unspoken desires and pleasures do I want to have experienced that change me?

Do I want to be unafraid to say out loud what turns me on in life, what literally makes me light up, regardless of how insane it may sound?

Who do I want to BE before I die? This is what is resting within me the last few days...instead of what I want to do. Because at the end of our life…do we want to feel at peace with all we've achieved or do want to feel at peace with who we transformed into?

It has made me question how we are always asked what our purpose is in life. I mean, it's a great question, but it often relates to how we conquer something, how we impact others (also a very real and BEautiful thing) or where we feel "useful." Again, it relates to doing.

The purpose of raising kids. Building a business. Inspiring others. Of course, we change and grow as we DO these things, no doubt. But it's the purpose of doing that's put first here.

What if your purpose was to simply love? What if it was to BE the first person in your family to make peace with the past? Meaning, maybe our purpose is an inside job all along.

What if your greatest purpose was to have the best right relationship with yourself. To your body. To your BEauty, your sexuality, your pleasure, fulfillment, sacredness, sensuality. To your wisdom. To your soul. To love yourself ridiculously. To fall in love with yourself over and over again.

Imagine making your coffee every single morning deliriously happy. Pleasure, joy, dancing around your kitchen, feeling sexy and sensual doing something that ordinary. And then imagine living everywhere else in that same state.

I don't think I'd care much what else was around me, or what else I did. BEcause that would be who I had BEcome.

For everything I manifest, I'm not sure it's the thing itself I love most. I'm questioning if it's the money, partner, house remodel - whatever that I have called in. I think who I BEcome along the way is the bigger prize. It isn't what I did...it's how I evolved.

So that's my question for you this week, BEauties.

Not what do you want to do before you die. But…who do you want to BE?

BE Well, Jen xxx

PS. No, I didn't dream up this topic simply to write BE a million times, although that was a fun by-product of the newsletter xxxx
